Description
ATORAA’s people counting sensor (A9-PPLC) is used to count the number of people passing by the sensor. The A9-
PPLC will detect the direction of movement, and will increase / decrease the internal counter value (8 bit). The counter is
implemented as auto roll-over. So it will increment from 255 to 0, and decrement from 0 to 255. The A9-PPLC is supplied
by two internal 1.5 V AA batteries. The innovative power saving technology will allow the A9-PPLC to work at least 5 years
without any maintenance / changing the batteries.
Features & Benefits
- Accurately tracks foot traffic, detecting movement direction and adjusting its 8-bit internal counter accordingly
- Auto roll-over functionality, it seamlessly cycles between 0 and 255
- Powered by two AA batteries with a 5+ year lifespan, it ensures reliable, maintenance-free operation for smart occupancy monitoring
-
Track foot traffic:People counting sensors, also known as footfall counters or visitor counters, are used to count the number of people entering and exiting a space, providing data on foot traffic patterns.
-
Provide data for analysis:This data can be used to understand how people move through a space, identify peak hours, and track conversion rates (the percentage of visitors who make a purchase).
-
Enable data-driven decisions:By analyzing the data, businesses can make informed decisions about staffing, store layout, marketing strategies, and more.
- Retail: Optimize store layout, understand the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and manage staffing levels.
- Transportation: Monitor passenger flow at airports, train stations, and bus terminals.
- Smart buildings: Manage occupancy levels, optimize space utilization, and improve building efficiency.
- Public spaces: Track visitor numbers at museums, libraries, and other public venue
